Streetform is a street design tool at streetform.app. This page explains what we collect and why. In short: very little, and we never sell it.
Designing streets
Your cross-section designs are saved in your own browser. They are not sent to us unless you create a share link, which puts the design itself in the link.
Usage statistics
We count anonymous events such as "exported a PNG" with a random per-visit ID, your country, the referring site and whether you are on a phone. No cookies, no IP addresses, no names. We honour Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control, and you can switch statistics off in Settings.
Accounts (corridors)
Building a corridor needs an account. When you continue with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture, and we store your email, name and a sign-in session. We use your email to send you your corridor links and to recognise your account. We do not post anything to Google or read anything else from your Google account.
Corridors
When you pick a street, we store the street line, the corridor we build, and the aerial and street photos used to build it. To build it we send those photos and public map data to Anthropic's Claude AI service to read the lane layout. Anthropic processes this under its commercial terms and does not use it to train models. Your corridors are private until you create a view-only share link.
Email updates and feedback
If you sign up for feature updates or leave feedback with an email address, we store that address with your consent. Every update email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
Services we use
- Cloudflare: hosting, database and email sending
- Google: sign-in
- Anthropic: reading street photos
- Esri (ArcGIS), Mapillary and OpenStreetMap: aerial photos, street photos and map data
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your account and everything in it, or export it, by replying to any Streetform email or writing from the app's feedback button. You can delete a corridor yourself at any time.
